The GUMC Tween Youth Group is for students in 5th through 8th grade and meets Sundays from 4 to 5:15 p.m. on the lower level of the church unless otherwise noted. The group focuses on building relationships with each other and with God while answering the spiritual questions children this age have. Transportation is available by contacting Director of Children and Youth Michelle Rash at 336-212-3424.

Nov. 2 — Old Testament Stories You’ve Never Heard: Euhd
Nov. 9 — Old Testament Stories You’ve Never Heard: Elisha and the Two Bears
Nov. 16 — Church scavenger hunt
Nov. 23 — Hanging of the Greens (2 to 5:15 p.m.)
Nov. 30 – No Tweens (Thanksgiving weekend)
7th and 8th grades
Nov. 2 — God the Father: Loving and Perfect
Nov. 9 — Game night: Ping pong, foosball and cornhole
Nov. 16 — God the Son: Savior and King
Nov. 23 — Hanging of the Greens (2 to 5:15 p.m.)
Nov. 30 – No Tweens (Thanksgiving weekend)
A snack supper will be provided at the end of tweens each week. We are excited to have this opportunity to share a meal with them each week.
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, we offer two separate tween Sunday School classes, one for 5thand 6th graders and one for 7th and 8th graders. Both use the Bible Studies for Life curriculum and meet on the lower level of the church.
